Bio

Brad has earned his designation, among select thousands in the world, as a Certified Professional in Erosion & Sediment Controls (CPESC) as well as his designation as a Certified Erosion, Sediment and Storm Water Inspector (CESSWI), lending his experience and training to his customers to consult them in all of their storm water needs. He has also earned his status as a Qualified Compliance Inspector of Stormwater (QCIS), which is a 14 hour certificate program that comprises five (5) courses and corresponding exams.

Brad has been invited to speak on storm water and erosion control issues in San Diego, CA; Austin, TX; Nashville, TN; San Antonio, TX; New Orleans, LA; Fort Worth, TX; Bella Vista, AR; Houston, TX ; Portland, OR; Corpus Christi, TX; Denver, CO; Little Rock, AR and College Station, TX as well as internationally in Antigua, Guatemala and in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Additionally he served as President and has also served as the Administrative Vice President of the South Central Chapter of the International Erosion Control Association. Brad was the Region 6 Chapter President for EnviroCert International serving all certifications in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and New Mexico. He has served as the Region 7 Representative for the CPESC, Inc group as well as the Technical Vice-Chair for the Council, and was Co-Chair on the Education Committee: Stormwater Management Track for the IECA Region 1, which encompasses North America, South America & Europe. where he stills serves on the committee. He is an IECA Mentor as well, and also serves as a TCEQ EnviroMentor.

He also served as a member of the Policies and Procedures Committee for EnviroCert International (ECI). Brad has been involved with Stormwater Quality Management since 2004 where he learned about permitting, turf establishment, erosion control and detention pond maintenance.

He has since then continued to learn and develop his storm water knowledge and skills and is now a speaker at many conferences sharing his expertise. His attention to detail and depth of knowledge about structural control devices, vegetative stabilization and best management practices are a valuable asset to both Storm-Tex Services and his clients. His wife is his high school sweetheart, and they have been married for over 15 years and have 3 sons; a 10 year old and a 6 year old and a 2 year old. Brad is also active at his church and frequently goes on mission trips, from drilling for water in rural villages in Honduras to assisting in hurricane recovery efforts in Puerto Rico. Brad is the Director of Hands and Feet Honduras/Puerto Rico, a 501(c)3 organization.
