Course Description
Sediment controls are devices or products which slow or pond the overland flow to dissipate water energy so that sediment will fall or settle out.
This course is specifically designed for Tennessee stormwater management, and covers proper installation and placement of silt fence; check dams; wattles; inlet protection; pond types; outlet structures; flocculants; dewatering; and turbidity barriers as they relate to Department of Environment & Conservation regulations.

The course was very good at speaking of topics that can get quite technical in a way that most would find understandable. The topics within the course are very relevant to the project I am on and now I feel like I have more confidence with being the environmental compliant inspector.
