Turbidity Curtains
A turbidity curtain:
Is a polyester reinforced vinyl fabric with floatation devices on the top and a ballast chain along the bottom.
These devices float in the water but should not reach the bottom of the waterway.
Allows only the bottom water to flow through so the sediment will settle out to the bottom and not move very much further downstream.
No results found.
Each year 1.2 trillion gallons of untreated sewage, stormwater, and industrial waste are dumped into U.S. water.
