This course will guide you through the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) General Construction Stormwater Permit mandates.

This permit covers construction activities including clearing, grading, excavation, materials or equipment staging and stockpiling that will disturb ONE (1) or MORE acres and may discharge to surface waters or conveyance systems leading to surface waters of the state.

This permit also covers construction activities that will disturb LESS than ONE (1) acre that are part of a common plan of development or sale if the larger common plan of development or sale will ultimately disturb ONE (1) acre or MORE and may discharge to surface waters or conveyance systems leading to surface waters of the state.
