ESC Short Course Program Overview
The 1-hour, GGHACA ESC Short Course online training program educates individuals to properly maintain a construction site in compliance with the Greater Golden Horseshoe Area Conservation Authorities (GGHACA) Erosion and Sediment Control Guidelines for Urban Construction manual.
This training covers the principles and practices of erosion and sediment control, pollution prevention as well as the proper reporting and documentation requirements for ensuring compliance associated with stormwater management for construction project sites;
This program has been reviewed and recognized by the Greater Golden Horseshoe Area Conservation Authorities.

For StormwaterONE students who have completed the GGHACA ESC Short Course for Urban Construction.

Learning Objectives
Students will learn the regulatory agency requirements with respect to Erosion and Sediment Control (ESC) in the Greater Golden Horseshoe Area; the principles of erosion and sediment control; implement good housekeeping practices; learn to isolate work near water; become familiar with environmental monitoring and inspection as well as design considerations of a compliant ESC plan.
