Blended (Online + Virtual Class)

Stormwater Management for Construction Activities - ADVANCED

Overview

Construction sites don't run on compliance paperwork alone — they run on people who know what to do when it rains, when a BMP fails, and when an inspector shows up. This advanced program builds that operational knowledge.

CI199A is designed for construction supervisors, foremen, contractors, and QSP Delegates who need more than the regulatory basics. It delivers a working understanding of the Clean Water Act and NPDES permit program, hands-on BMP installation and maintenance, and on-site inspection skills — through a blended format combining self-paced online coursework with live virtual instructor-led training.

For California teams: CI199A pairs directly with the QSP Delegate Training course as an advanced add-on. The Delegate Training (Modules 1.a–1.c) meets the baseline requirements of the 2022 Construction General Permit (CGP) under Section V.E.1. CI199A goes further — covering the stormwater management principles that make a delegate genuinely effective in the field, not just technically compliant on paper.

ABOUT US

STORMWATER MANAGEMENT TRAINING AND CREDENTIALING

StormwaterONE.com is operated by StormwaterONE, L.L.C. StormwaterONE is a private occupational trade school for stormwater management. Our school is located in Rocky Hill, Connecticut.

Our school has been in operation since 2007 and to date we have trained and credentialed more than thirty thousand construction professionals on the subject of stormwater management through our Internet-based learning system, which is referred to as the eCampus.

As the leader in computer-based stormwater management training and credentialing, our school's mission is to provide our students with the most comprehensive and up to date training of individual stormwater permits.

Our credentialing programs provide professionals with the skills and qualifications required to maintain construction sites in accordance with section 402 of the Clean Water Act. Section 402 of the Clean Water Act outlines the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permitting program and requires all construction sites disturbing one (1) acre or more of land to obtain permit coverage to discharge stormwater and other wastewater from construction sites.
