PaveDrain

Company Description: The PaveDrain System is a Permeable Articulating Concrete Block (P-ACB) that creates a performance pavement that integrates the patented arched reservoir to maximize onsite stormwater capacity during extreme storm events.

This improves the typical storm hydrograph and increases environmental performance while reducing stormwater infrastructure costs. The PaveDrain mats can be pre-assembled in a variety of configurations customized for specific applications and installed very quickly with conventional construction equipment.

The PaveDrain System allows for a more natural (vertical) infiltration path, recharging local groundwater and reducing first flush pollutants. By reducing a typical storm hydrograph while also filtering out suspended sediments this combination of Best Management Practices (BMP's) illustrate stellar life-cycle cost savings, clearly making the PaveDrain System a superior choice for effective stormwater management.

The PaveDrain system is the most environmentally friendly, cost-effective, and MAINTAINABLE permeable system on the market.

The arch creates an internal storage chamber that can be filled with stormwater runoff in extreme conditions.

The PaveDrain system can be mechanically installed with a mini-excavator and a minimal crew.

The arch maintains strength even under massive loads and is rated for AASHTO HS-25 loading.

After vacuuming, there is no need to refill the joints between the blocks with sand or rock chips.

The PaveDrain system is set on compacted AASHTO No. 57 stone and a rigid biaxial geogrid that minimizes dislodging stone due to foot traffic and mechanical installation.

Most projects require some form of hand placed installation.

The arch allows the PaveDrain blocks to reach and maintain thermal mass quickly and efficiently.
