ESC Series Program Overview
This 9-hour computer based training series is intended to serve as adjunctive training for individuals who have attended a state specific permit training program and are seeking a more comprehensive understanding of the Principles and Practices of Erosion Control, Sediment Control, and Pollution Prevention.

Learning Objectives
This program will provide you with a fundamental knowledge of all aspects of erosion and sediment control so you can:
- Describe the principle differences between erosion control and sediment control Best Management Practices (BMPs).
- Describe effective pollution prevention methods.
- Identify the steps necessary to install and maintain BMPs on a construction site.
- Explain the technologies and solutions available for maintaining stormwater management compliance on construction sites.
- Identify BMP structure deficiencies and make proper recommendations and/or corrections to BMPs on construction projects.
