Course Description
At the completion of this course, the student will be provided the resources necessary to explain and administratively establish the IDDE program as well as to:

Define fundamental Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination (IDDE) rules and regulations for stormwater management.

Administratively establish fundamental IDDE procedures to protect water quality, our environment and surface waters.

Explain types of illicit discharges and the monitoring programs used to control runoff at the source.

Detect visual, non-visual and physical indicators when an illicit discharge may have occurred and the setup procedures to conduct inspections.

Implement IDDE goals, practices, tools, inspection methods and required documentation.
