This course also provides information on illicit discharge detection, clues and possible findings, conducting inspections and sampling as well as non-stormwater outfall discharges with examples. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn addition outfall monitoring, program mapping considerations, common approaches to outfall screening including typical physical and chemical indicators are covered.  Information on inspection documentation, investigation, reporting and environmental crimes are covered.  Lastly, it provides tips on developing an effective IDDE Program.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs authorized by the Clean Water Act (CWA), the NPDES permit program controls water pollution by regulating point sources that discharge pollutants into waters of the United States.  The NPDES program has Phase I and Phase II rulings and control measures.
